Re-Evaluations
Have you had a re-evaluation?
As an EverFit member, you are entitled to an update with a personal trainer every 6 weeks, for no extra charge. A trainer can simply check your form throughout your current program, and make minor adjustment in resistance or repetitions, or he or she can give you different exercises to do if you would like to try something new. If you have not had a re-evaluation in while, stop by or call (856) 829-0015 to set up your appointment with a trainer!
Re-evaluation’s are different from personal training, in that they are meant to show you some new movements that you will be able to complete independently, safely, and effectively for at least the next 6 weeks. Alternatively, a personal training session is meant to be an extremely challenging, unique workout that involves a series of movements meant to only be completed under regular supervision. See “personal training” for more information, and call (856) 829-0015 for available packages and pricing!
EverFit Membership Freeze Policy
Personal Freeze
We understand that things happen in life that may prevent our members from attending the gym. A member may freeze a membership for personal reasons for up to 3 months for a reduced monthly rate of $10 (plus tax). The regular rates will resume automatically after 3 months. For anyone who has paid for the year or 6 months in full, he/she may submit manual payments of $10 (plus tax) each month for up to 3 months at a time. We will credit each month on a personal freeze at the end of the contract. Personal reasons include any reason other than an inability to exercise due to medical reasons (See medical freeze). Examples of personal freeze: Vacation, time-constraints, caring for a sick relative, etc.
Member must be out of the gym for at least 1 full consecutive month to be eligible for a personal freeze. Please let us know as early as possible, and we will give you a (freeze form) to fill out.
Medical Freeze
We also offer a medical freeze for any member who is unable to exercise due to a medical condition. We must receive a note from the member’s physician stating that the member is unable to participate in any sort of exercise program for a specific period of time. We will freeze the account for no charge with a doctor’s note for three months at a time. The billing will resume after 3 months unless otherwise notified. If the member is still unable to attend after 3 months, we must receive an updated doctor’s note at that time in order to freeze for up to an additional 3 months. Those who have paid for the year or 6 months in full ahead of time will receive a credit for each month on a medical freeze (up to 3 months per doctor’s note) at the end of the contract. Again, please let us know as early as possible, and we will give you a (freeze form) to fill out.
EverFit Membership Cancellation Policy
Each new member has the option to choose between a month-to-month membership, which requires 60 days notice for cancellation, or a year membership, which requires 12 months minimum of full membership, with 30 days notice for cancellation once the membership is fulfilled. This cancellation must be in writing, can be faxed, mailed, emailed, or delivered in person and would be dated from the moment we receive it. The cancellation policy of the membership you choose (or have chosen) is clearly outlined in your new member financial paperwork, and you should always keep a copy of the paperwork you sign.
Please note that once you are eligible to submit notice (by the eleventh month for the year membership or at any time for the month-to-month membership), if you are considering cancelling your membership, you should do so immediately even if you are not yet certain. You can always change your mind and resume full membership during the “notice of cancellation period” of 30 or 60 days, and you will be billed 1-2 times further either way, so it is important to start that clock as soon as possible. As long as you communicate with EverFit, we will do our best to honor your wishes as timely as possible, per the guidelines outlined in your original membership agreement.
EverFit understands that occasionally a member may wish to attend another facility, or is struggling to commit to a regular exercise program due to scheduling conflicts. We hope you will always feel comfortable communicating with us about any concerns you may have, and we will do our best to help you address them. If we are no longer able to serve your needs, and you don’t think you will return in the future, it is probably time to submit your notice for cancellation.
However, if you feel that your program at EverFit will need to be temporarily suspended, with plans to return in the future, it will probably be less of a financial burden to simply freeze your membership instead. It can be frozen at no charge for medical reasons (if accompanied by a doctors note), or for personal reasons for just $10 per month. As long as you use these freezes to remain a “current member”, you will never again be responsible for a service fee upon return. If you cancel your membership, and return several months later, you would be responsible for a new service fee, which would cost the same as up to 10-15 months of personal freeze.
If you have any questions about the terms of your membership or EverFit’s cancellation policy in general, please feel free to contact Jen at (856) 829-0015 Ext. 108, or through email at everfitcinn@hotmail.com.
